Zimbabwean singer, FRYA (pronounced Fre-ya) is ready to share her new hit single ‘Changes’, which accompanies the release of her debut album ‘Balance’.

Frya is one of the most versatile artists to come out of Africa in recent years. The 26-year-old Zimbabwean singer-songwriter has crafted her genre-bending sound through her nomadic lifestyle. This diverse, pan-African soundscape is reflected in her debut album, Balance.
Having fallen in love with music at a young age, her father travelled quite often seeing Frya spend majority of her childhood in Europe and Sudan. In 2017 she moved to South Africa. “My mother was the happiest when she sang in the house before she passed” she mentions as her biggest inspiration followed by other greats like Amy Winehouse, Nina Simon, Adele, Rihanna and Jhene Aiko.
